4/3/10- While circumstances have (if you hadn't already noticed) put a halt to updates on the website here, you can still view all new content, including lyrics translations, on the blog. The site is still being rebuilt and will be relaunched... 10/4/09- The BLOG-TICK PHENOMENON is about to explode! 9/30/09- When asked to speak about Der Zibet’s 13th album Primitive, BUCK-TICK’s own Sakurai Atsushi declared “That man with the beautiful mask is singing. He sings tunes like razorblades over the heartbeats of the beasts… The melodies flow from his wounds, made love to by the gushing, pounding rhythms, in a chaos dance, a frenzy dance.” Very poetic and all, but perhaps you wondered—what about the lyrics? And now you get to find out! At long last, NGS has added Der Zibet to our translated artists section, to bring you back to the Stone Age, though the magic of the internetz. Because Der Zibet are not BUCK-TICK, but that doesn’t mean they’re not awesome. 9/1809- Are you lacking angst in your day? Feeling quite pleased in good company? It's ok, we've got new Plastic Tree lyrics to change all that. Petshop, Psychadelizm, and Tsuki no Hikari wo Tayori ni are now posted. 9/13/09- Today we're adding not one, but TWO new artists to the lyrics section (what madness!!!). Yes, check for yourself and you will find Kiyoharu (with lyrics and translations to Slow, Carnation, Emily, Yokan, note, and Rinne) and Mucc (with lyrics and translations to Saishuu Ressha, Game, Libra, Fuzz, and Chain Ring). Joyness. 9/11/09- Yay, we've put up the remaining translations and lyrics for Bonnie Pink's Evil and Flowers album! 9/4/09- Apologies for the rather unexpected summer hiatus. You know how sometimes life suddenly throws utterly bizarre complexities your way and next thing you know you haven't written a spot of new material in... oh, let's not even count the days, and a bedraggled gathering of your poor, disshelved readers has collected to look upon you with forlorn sighs and vacant questions and— ok maybe we're getting a bit dramatic. But don't worry folks, we've got stuff cooking back here. We're remolding, revamping, re-not-greating things (and now spontaneously launching a competition where you can create a definition for that last phrase, the winner will recieve tesselated drawings of fish). So fear not, we never forsook you. Cause, although it may not always seem like it, we aren't just a BUCK-TICK website :-P Der Zibet is back with their 13th studio album, the first in 13 years, and on Friday night in the moonshine the fans gathered on the 13th floor... No, sorry, we lied. There was no moonshine, it was pouring rain, which meant the fans at the show all brought their sweet polkadot umbrellas... Forget it, just go read the article already. 3/3/09- Complete Memento Mori translations- Now bigger and badder than ever! As seen on TV! (except not, because that would be weird) 2/27/09- Suzumebachi has now been added to Memento Mori! No wai! 2/26/09- Gasp! More lyrics? Could it be? We've added the translations to Memento Mori and Jonathan Jet-Coaster. 2/23/09- Dangerous kids, terrible children, Japanese babies, lend us your ears!
